About

Constance Eyre became invoved in the fashion industry as a model after being discovered by the late great Isabella Blow. But she soon decided that it was designing she really loved after she bought herself an old knitting machine which she then taught herself to use.

She launched her own knitwear label, 'Constance Eyre' in 2002 after designing knitwear for Elspeth Gibson for two seasons.

Her inspiration is taken from the ever inreasing collection of vintage knitting patterns she has collected over the years, particularily from the 1920's to 1940's. Her pieces are all knitted in the UK.
